As for what happened in Issue 18 of the City of Heroes comic (Top Cow), it was an all girl issue with the Vindicator girls and the Arachnos lieutenants. Basically, the latter lost a cage fight and got sent to the Zig. So, naturally, poor Barracuda would avoid Pocket D like the plague.
