Izzy was going to have black hair, but as I was fiddling with colors in the character creator this hue struck me. I turned around and told the friend behind me at the time "Hey, I like that color!" She nodded and said, "Yep. Use it." So I did.
The fleur is just to… I dunno… touch of sofistication.
