So yeah, if anybody was wondering what was going on about… 14 comics ago, in the one entitled "Doyle and Gabbie", here's your explanation. Gabbie thought Doyle was only interested in her now that she looked like a human.

Originally, there was going to be a much longer sequence involving Gabbie joining the Y.I.F.F. and betraying all sorts of tactical information about human rebellion strongholds to the Fuh'rai, however I decided that a) it wasn't really in keeping with her persona, and b) it was going to be really long and boring. So… if you want the full Apple Valley experience, pretend that bit ALSO happened.
