The Departure

Was a bit rushed, sorry. Shaun will likely update this with a rant about what we're up to.

-Dave

What we're up to?

Well, all I can really say about that is that we're ALMOST getting ahead on strips. Which should equate to better strips. I'm not entirely sure what Dave's referencing when he says 'rushed a bit', but I know for sure the dialogue could have been improved a bit.

Also, we're working on a six-page story for a Mediocre Militia sampler book (displaying all of the amazing talent of that group, which you should really take a look at as soon as you can). It's going to feature Dave and Bill. I can't say anything else about it (the book), because that's all I know, but it should be excellent.

This coming Monday will exhibit the temporary 'end' to this particular storyline, and Friday will feature a somewhat-belated Golden Compass-inspired strip (as well as the companion/sequel rant to the one I did on the failure of Optimus Prime a little while ago, for those of you who are interested). Just know that next Friday's page (as well as the rant) WILL CONTAIN SPOILERS, if you haven't seen the movie.

And that's about all. Dave and I are working pretty hard to take this comic to an 'elite' status, but it's still a work in progress. It might be stupid or out of place to say right now, but we both really appreciate those of you who read this. It's inspiring to come back from a prolonged, unannounced hiatus (several times now) and have little-to-no loss in viewers or comments.

You guys play as much as role as we do in how far Applied Living will go, and what it'll achieve.

So, many thanks for many things.

–Shaun

(Also, I desperately need readers for my solo breakout comic sWORDplay, so if you're into puns, poor art, and me updating weakly, take a gander.)
