Man this was, again, a really great thanksgiving, so many people came and we had so much amazing food!. Butternut squash my turkey and ham came out amazing! I made a new recipe for the turkey called the thorogood, after George Thorogood's song one bourbon, one scotch and one beer, that's what I put in the turkey, with diced apples, onions garlic and a little bit of Worcestershire and teriyaki sauce. It came out soo good, no dry meat at all, the trick is to stuff with wet things like apples, onions and booze, you'll never get dry white meat if you do it that way, I promise. And the ham was this amazing brandy brownsugar glaze I made up on the spot too. Plus bacon covered brussel sprouts, mashed potatoes, like 6 kinds of stuffing, my dad and his girlfriend came, the guys were here, my friend Kathy's parents came and we all had an amazing time, hung out until 2 am then passed out. I woke up about an hour ago, hence the late update.
