One of the roommates, Amber, ( I still gotta introduce you guys to her) is a manager at an art gallery, they put on Crazy for Cult, it's kind of a big deal, if you've ever heard of it. So I went to hang out and partake of the open bar, it was too fucking hot, they were a little under staffed, as it's a smallish gallery, so I offered to help, they posted me as door man and I had a lot of fun. "what's up with that shirt man? it's not allowed in here" "your hair isn't to the left enough" "hahaha, not with those shoes" Inside was a sea of horn rimmed glasses, free PBR in hand held close to their chests as if it were an ID badge of belonging, ironic mustache and shitty looking hair meticulously mussed hours before the show. All in all I had a lot of fun, not because of the art, i actually didn't enjoy much of it at all, some of it involved a lot of great technique, or good concepts, but all in all just not my thing I guess. Still, I had fun by the end. Despite the company.
