New Computer

Fortunately this hasn't actually happened, exactly. I ordered parts to build a new computer. It should have all gotten here by thursday or friday at the latest. However, this time only the case and monitor I ordered came, while the rest of the parts are en route. I excitedly hooked up my monitor to my current computer as it was a nice, flat screen LCD and I desperately need the space on my desk, as I was using CRT monitors, the fat ones. Well I hook up the monitor, fire it on and it shows my desktop image, I'm excited, until… the screen fuzzes for a moment then goes black and stays that way. When I turn the monitor on then back off it shows the screen for a second then loses it, same when I disconnect and reconnect. This will not do. So I've sent it back to newegg.com whom I always get parts from. Normally they're awesome, this last run has been less than awesome. But things always go wrong when building a new computer, I'm gladd they're happening now during the shipping and receiving end rather than have the above.
