Author notes
By Piet Mondrian (1872-1944) Circa 1942-43 De Stijl (Neoplasticism) One of the last works created by Mondrian, Broadway Boogie-Woogie is meant to display a grid of New York City and the movement of the city streets. This work while only having five colors (Red, blue, yellow, white, and black) is a lot since most of Mondrians paintings only consisted of three colors.
