Author notes
Portrait of Emma Zorn in the Paris studio By Anders Zorn (1860-1920) Circa. 1894 Swedish Realism Anders Zorn was a popular painter of the late 19th century most well known for his portrait of William Howard Taft (In which he painted the president to look fifty pounds lighter than he actually was). During his life, Zorn acquired vast amounts of money through his paintings. Not only did he use this income to build a giant house, but also used it to buy a great deal of paintings. Today, his home, Zorngarden is a museum where anyone can see his art and much of the art that he had collected in his lifetime. Jacob Gray
