Yeah, Dad lost his election, but I got to go home and see family, which is a nifty nifty plus.

Really, the odds for my dad were really stacked up against him. First, he wasn't funded very well. Second, the district is gerrymanded to be republican (by the democrats if I recall) so the republican vote is there. Third, and it happens where ever you go, the encumbant had the district for 14 years. They tend to win.

But he's learned a lot. As did I, and my family.
