When I first came up with the character of Charlie (based on the fact that the rug over by my apartment's door really does move for no reason at all), I wanted to introduce a love triangle between him and Susie…and someone else….

I'm not saying I'm not going to do it, but I think it's pretty obvious by now that he's holding a torch for her.
