He always stacks away boxes with some clothes when he settles in a new place. Here's a rambly explanation:

Tobias was one of the first demons that left their world and joined "our" world. Or at least a simmelar one.
When he got here we ordinary humas was very suspicious and thougt all they wanted was to mess with our lives and do evil things. The truth is they just wanted to be left alone more or less. To live a less risky life than living among other demons.

Tobias have been living there about half a year or so. He's actually a pretty young demon around 40, but he looks much younger in our eyes, and that makes him hang around people that look his age. Usually he can pull this off for some months, sometimes a few years, before he mess up and have to leave.
