See the wings in all their glory. Remember, this is not the "real" world, so reality can go bite the dust.

Yeah, okay, more useless info for the ones who like reading this stuff.
As you must have guessed by now I'm working with an ability-driven world. My demons can have one or more abilities that makes them able to do various unnatural things. Aidan has two: His ability to visit other demons original nightmares (something he found out he could do pretty recently) and the ability to control pain (giving him the nickname Pain, because let's face it, his friends weren't that creative). Now, abilities are pretty much a talent you have to train. You don't magically know how to do things, you have to experiment, practise and then practise some more. It's kinda like drawing actually.
Aidan can both de- and increase pain, but he didn't like making people suffer when he was little, so he never practised it, and that means he's not good at increasing pain. He is very good at decreasing pain because he's practised that most of his life. He can block pain (maning it'll only hurt less and come back full power at some point, unless the thing causing it stopped. That's a great way of stopping headaches actually) for a varied amount of time, he can remove it completely for a limited time (I'll just hurt a lot more if/when the pain returns) or remove it completely (aka you'll loose all sense of touch too, so that's not his preferred way to deal with things). That's only a rough guide to what he can do, but you get the idea.

Other abilities I've mentioned here and there are: Control of cards and cacti, making people insane for a short moment of time, control of smoke (resulting in pyromaniac-behavior because she cannot create smoke), enhancing/creating a feeling of despair, changing appearance by sewing (he had a patcworkish body and could rearrange his bones)…
