Not a Planet?!?
Lonnehart onI was surprised when the announcement came that Pluto wasn't a planet anymore. All my educational life I was taught that Pluto was the ninth planet, and now this. Then again, I also wondered if it was a captured planet due to its orbit not being in the same alignment as all the other planet's orbits. Latest I read is that Pluto is probably a former(?) resident of the Kuiper Belt, a belt of debris that lies outside the Solar System that orbits the sun.
