Attempted Fishmath

#4 - The Summer Blockbuster: Critics In Disguise
Beaums onYeah I know, this update has been made a bit late into the day, but I have an explanation prepared! Don't you fret! You see: I have decided to start updating a little later in the day, as not a lot of Drunk Duck users are logged on at 12 am in the morning. Not a whole lot of people view your page when it's updated at the crack of midnight. So this update comes at a more reasonable time, and hopefully it'll boost my pageviews. Who knows though… I'm still experimenting.
Anyways, not much to say about this one. I have seen Transformers, and I liked it a lot. But I'm not a person who likes to dive deep into the very fundamentals of a movie's essence. I go to see movies for the cheap thrills. The explosions, the stupid dialogue, the violence, the nudity, etc. I don't understand why everyone has to break every cinematic splendour with their relentless critiques. Can't people just enjoy the true spirit of a film? Can't they just appreciate the time, effort, and money that goes into every feature presentation? It's a rant like this that inspired this week's comic. I like to think that Fishmath is getting my message across… in a weird sort of way…
Oh, and the two other characters in this strip are Lisa and Scott, two of my friends. I did see Transformers with them, but they didn't make the comments you see in this issue of AF. They're not stuck-up losers who waltz in to movie theatres and think they have the right to tear at the very foundation of a film. (Unlike some people…) I'm just puttin' words in their mouths. I like to do that.
Keep your retinas to the sky,
Beaums
