#18 - Brainstorming: Mindfreak On A Leash

Oye, it's late. I'll make this quick.

I really like this one. The only problem is, you probably have to know about Criss Angel (the "Mindfreak") to get it. I mean, I'm sure a large portion of North Americans are aware of the Mindfreak, but is that portion enough?! Bleh… I dunno. Maybe this one works though, I tend to jump to the most dreaded conclusion.

Partial credit to this comic should go to my freidn Patrick Giang. Patty, Giang Bang, my dog. He tends to yell "MINDFREAK!" whilst rolling the eyes into the back of his head and shaking violently simultaneously. I don't know why he does it… but his has given birth to pure 24 carat comedy gold!! I also gotta give a shout-out to another friend of mine, Liza, who stars as another one of Fishmath's friend in this issue. The teacher in this comic is also based off my Socials teacher, Mr. Rolph. Funny story… When I made this comic I actually didn't think my Socials teacher would read it in Youthink Magazine. Turns out the day it was released Mr. Rolph confronted me in clas, inquiring about the teacher character in this comic. I fumbled around for appropriate words and never really managed to give him a straight answer. Luckily, he took his appearance in my comic as a bit compliment. CRISIS AVERTED!

So uh… wow. I didn't keep these notes short at all. And now it's late, and I'm missing out on sleep.
