====================
RANT OF THE DAY
====================

As we grow up, we constantly accumulate knowledge… based on environment, experiences, and everything else. Sometimes, we grow up with the knowledge we are taught. We grow up with the knowledge that gets drilled into our heads by parents, or school, or religion, or friends, or any combination.

As children, like absorbent sponges, we absorb everything completely and believe everything told to us. Everything. is. truth.

But somewhere along the line, if something happens to us in our adult lives. Like a little trigger that will destroy all what we've been taught… we are faced with denial.

Since we're warped up into our old beliefs, we cling to them trying to find validation in those old beliefs and prove the new ideas wrong.

If the new ideas are proven wrong, we stick to the old beliefs. If not, the new ideas get absorbed little by little and get accepted as truth. Sometimes a very painful process that can risk the life of the person.

Once newly accepted as truth, we start to preach the new ideas actively. Sometimes become obsessed with them. To the point of annoying other people who still believe in the ideas we used to believe in. Recruit recruit recruit… as aggressively like a fucking pyramid scam artist.

Once the annoyance has been done… we realize its better to keep it to ourselves… and guide the new ones who have been "awakened" to the truth (at least from our perspective).

Help those who want to be helped. Those who chose to swallow the blue pill and be forever stuck in the matrix… leave em alone. :)

I apologize if you think you've read this rant somewhere else… as it may have already been discussed by psychology books or have a "one-word-name" for it…

But to me… its all based on personal experience and what Ive seen from other people.
