"Why is it in media people always bolt upright after a nightmare in a cold sweat panting?"

I had nightmares before and the worst one was when I dreamt that I was a guerilla soldier fighting these enemies that can turn invisible and move insanely fast.

I was captured, threw into the ground, then a gun was pointed to the back of my right ear and then I was shot.

I woke up. I was up on the side of my bed. My right ear felt a bit sore. like it felt that a gun was actually shoved into it.
