My geography of the USA isnt too good… since I never been there in my life (though in July I plan to go to NYC).

Its just based on American movies. Dark neglected alleyways… places (in the movies) where you'd usually find bums gathering around the fire, or drugs, or fights… Not exactly sure which specific states have alleyways that look like shit.

I just said "California" in the first chapter… because I know thats the area where there are alot of Filipinos and it doesnt snow. Yep. AZN pride. :)
