RANT OF THE DAY

This is a continuation regarding the school shooting rant before this.

I am not yet leavin that school shooting topic alone… because it is one that peaked my interest… and it is kinda creepy looking at the similarities between ME and the shooter.

- I am asian. When I first heard the breaking news, I had this picture of a trenchcoated white guy as the shooter. Either a neo-nazi or a goth. Asian. Yes. The stereotypically quiet kids.


- I am a loner (err… tho I felt more of its effects when I was younger and dumber). I came from an unstable family (relations good now… but its nothing I can count on)… and has few friends… as compared to the stereotypical asian in asianavenue.com who has 100 friends at least. For an asian, that is kinda embarrassing. Because it is asians who normally stay with their parents even though they get university degrees and make 60k a year… because they love em so much. Because it is asians who have a huuugggeee network of friends. Notice how asian gangs are larger than black gangs? Notice how bums are mostly blacks or whites? If asian loses job, there is a whole battallion to rescue him. Normally its the loyal wife or the closely knit network of relatives and friends.


- I like writing stories about bullied kids… and other violent stories. One story I am thinkin of turning into a comic is a story I called BOY ABNOY. It might be boring to you because the damn fucking script IS BK[SH] this time without Claudita and without superpowers and other bullshit like that. Its more of a 2 part short story where he kills everyone in the highschool prom. And yeah that story got me in trouble with the principal. Because its written from Boy Abnoy's (the shooter) perspective.



Anyway. Cho killed 32 people. Supposedly out of his hatred for rich kids. And how sure are you that those 32 people are all evil? There ARE innocent people who were killed. Who knows… some of his victims might be loners themselves. Who knows… some of his victims are the "only child" whose family's hopes and dreams rest on? One of his victims was a dude from indonesia whos family sold their cars just to send him to a high end school in the USA. One of his victims was a promising engineer who could have contributed to society.

I'm not glorifying his behavior though. Killing is wrong. The bible says "thou shall not kill". And even without the bible, and without god or any of that crap… killing is still wrong… especally these days when you kill somebody, you make him/her into a martyr. Even assholes like Saddam Hussein become martyrs!!!



Violence doesnt really put your aim forward. It just sets you back. All extremists setback their ideologies. Be it religious, animal rights, feminists, mens rights, gay rights, racial supremacy groups, etc… Violence only paints them as bad guys. Use the internet. Vilify your target without inciting violence against them. Make targets look stupid. Thats the best way to score "points" against your target hated group.

He was smart (that is debatable since some of you might be like… A GRADE 9 can write better than that!!!). Otherwise he wont be in the university in the first place writing plays.

To use his talent to strike at rich kids, he should have wrote more and more stories and plays where rich kids are portrayed as evil or stupid. Or portray them as good. That is how to change their behavior if rich kids are so evil. People learn some of their attitudes from the stuff they watch.

Repeat repeat repeat… and it could be accepted as "truth" by those who read his shit. Even lies become truth if repeated often. That is a fact. Various hate groups have used that tactic successfully… up to a point where the government supports their hateful ideologies already.


The pen is mightier than the sword (or since this is the 21st century, the KEYBOARD is mightier than the GUN).



And on another note… I feel a new sense of achievement in me. I had an almost identical background with the shooter… and here I am. Alive. And thinking of ways to improve my education and therefore, my income. I wanna show these asshole family members of mine and everyone else who looked down on me and gave me shit… that you will never be martyrs! That your putdowns and discouragement will not sap my morale!

Keeping my head up high. Defying the odds. Thats an achievement I'd give myself a medal for. lol :)



And… I hope that the society that created that monster will realize its mistake. Instead of turning a blind eye to his "message" and dismissing it and criticizing NBC for airing that video. NBC is just doin its job as a news station. As an unbiased news station, ALL SIDES have to be shown on the table.
