RANT OF THE DAY

Watched a few north korea vids… From both sides. Vids produced by the NK government, as well as from a few tourists who managed to get into the country.

I learned… that the NK government only allows people to go there on certain times of the year (and you'd be followed all the time by one of Kim's agents)… most likely during the time where you can watch the "arirang mass games" (they're not really games but they could possibly the world's largest synchronized play. The military coordination of about 50,000 actors is just… impressive. They move almost like they aren't separate brains but as one body.

North Koreans (the ones not in the concentration camps) also believe they are living in the best country in the world. They are constantly fed daily propaganda about how bad USA is, and that they are lucky to have a god as a leader. These guys worship Kim Jong il. Everything good gets credited on Kim.

When a Nepalese doctor visited NK and treated 1000 blind patients… when they were able to see again, they all erupted in praise of "the great general" (guess who!!!). NK isn't communism but a CULT WORSHIP.

One old guy even expressed his fanatical gratitude by asking for a rifle so he can go kill some "American imperialists". Another woman said she will work double time in the salt mine… to harvest more salt to make Kim Jong Il happier or somethin. For all I know, that "salt" is fucking drugs. NK's income is mostly on weapons and drugs. And the income from them is used to finance Kim's luxury lifestyle and his few loyalists.

As far as a war on NK, if ever the USA will invade, I will fully support US military action and sanctions (that can be a breeding ground for a rebellion) on that regime. The millions of N Koreans starving everyday and whole families being sent to concentration camps for the slightest offenses such as singing a south-Korean song or questioning Kim Jong Il.

These NKers are gonna be better off under "US imperialism". Fucking Pyongyang is like a ghost city with very few cars on the road. These cars for all I know are only for top level NK officials and military.

But war… is more likely to NOT happen.

NK has about 5 million troops with 100k special forces… Their air force will be shredded to pieces (Migs are no match for F-22s)… but they have one of the best AA defense… and the battle on the ground will be HELL for the US forces. They have LOTS of tanks and artillery… and long range missiles. maybe more weapons than soldiers.

This isnt gonna be like Iraq where US forces were helped by Shiite and Kurd militias (at least for the first part). The brainwashed NK soldiers are likely to fight to the death. And dont forget the chemical and bioweapons… and the NUKES ON THE TAEPODONG ROCKET!!! Those things can hit the west coast of the USA (and the nuke fallout can spread to Canada)

In short, a US invasion of NK is gonna be 10x worse than iraq (estimates at 50k combined US and SKorean casualties in the invasion to remove Kim from power). So the world can just sit back and watch… the human rights abuses being done everyday to the North Koreans… :(
