RANT OF THE DAY

I got another comic idea.

This time its more like a fancomic… and I'd be using existing characters of other people. (I dunno if I'd get shit for copyright infringement…)

Anyway I wanna do a comic about BABY AMA. To all who dont know Baby Ama, he's a fictional ex-con in Philippine cinema (maybe in the 1950s comics… Im not quite sure)… who had a gangsta dad… who was feared during his prime.

Of course the son followed in dad's footsteps… after a dramatic, complicated story that involved action and romance and gangsta politics (where he of course killed off the rival gangsta)… he was sentenced to jail for 50+ years for gang-related crimes. However in the jail, he became more like a "king". Respected and feared by the inmates and the prison guards as if hes a king in there.


My story I plan to set in the timeframe when he went to jail (end of the 1990 movie)… to the time the 2nd movie came out in 2002 (the police had to send a tank and a SWAT team into the jail to stop Baby Ama!!!).

Basically I'll try to write a story on how he rose up to his position in the jail. Lots of jail brawls for sure… as he'll most likely be getting into fights with the AMOGs (alpha male other guy) in there. Maybe throw in some brutal policemen who run the jail like a war-criminal… Maybe throw in ex-marines-turned-bad in there. As these guys will be more skilled fighters. Or put a woman character who was transferred to the men's jail because she beat up other female inmates sooo bad that it resulted in their deaths… police figured if she is in a jail with men, she wont be as big of a biatch.

Or maybe put a twist where Baby Ama gets transferred to the USA to be part of a secret government experiment using criminals from around the world… like performance-enhancing drugs and psychological training for future use on US army soldiers… of course they need human guinea pigs… they might as well use the "filth" of the world. And the scientist / general gonna be like… In a multicultural USA society with a multi-racial armed forces, why not see the effects they might have on people of different races?

The rationale of the Philippine Government? Philippine govt provides human guinea pigs… while USA transfers technology and hi-tech weapons to the Philippine army. Besides. The Philippines is a strategic location in a possible front against China or North Korea. And dont forget the Abu Sayaff rebels which is said to have ties to Al Quaeda and Jemmah Islamiyah… and the communist New People's Army (aka NPA) that may have ties to Kim Jong Il… as they greeted the "dear leader" on his birthday and threatened the USA with terror attacks if the USA uses the Philippines in attacking North Korea.

A good war on terror front. And a key USA ally. It serves USA interests so why not give em increased military aid? Since as of now, the Philippines only gets obsolete USA army equipment. Its up to our engineers to add improvements to those stuff… maybe on a different rant, I'll post some of the military innovations of the Philippine army based on reverse-engineering USA equipment. Man we gotta modernize FAST because China is right next door. Dont be fooled by the propaganda that says that China is gonna be a more benevolent superpower compared to the USA. ANY world power is imperialist and likes to invade other countries out of sheer greed!


Yeah… maybe we'd see Baby Ama fight bigger muscled AMOG blacks and whites in there… as well as shoot up some cops and US army soldiers… then drama this and that… and in the end gets transferred back to a philippine jail.


lol maybe that idea gonna suck shit since I have limited experience in jails… (lol I'm not an excon nor plan to be one!!!) Last time I visited a jail was back when I was 9 years old… I visited an uncle there. I remember overcrowded jails… with some spaced dedicated for forced labor(maybe the hardcore criminals are there… instead of getting a break, its concentration camp labor for you… which is mostly pointless moving rocks and digging holes and filling up again), sports, and just plain hanging out.


lol or maybe nuff with copyright infringement on my part. Why not just make a new character who is an ex-con? (fucking all these paragraphs ranting about Baby Ama only to say "ooh… I'll just make a new character"…)

Like what I did in [Shattered Hate]. That was originally a fanfic crossover where Belldandy meets Cedrick or somethin. Replaced Bell with Claudita and problem solved. lol


I'd be doing comics with badass ex-con characters. I dunno if that kinda shit is gonna be popular. As I noticed most people involved in webcomics (readers and makers) are fond of fantasy set in some made-up world. With all the magic and powers and stuff like that. :(


I have a fascination for gangsta and soldier movies… as well as politics. My interest for fantasy is kinda on the decline.
