As you can see, thats not the proper way to block a kick or a punch.

Those toenails can cut you… :( And blocking hook punches (or haymakers) that way has a lesser chance of success.

And these past few pages, the attack positions are WRONG. For instance, in the previous page, bottom panel, you do not kick like that. Notice her right hand is in her waist? If the hands are down, you know what can happen to your face… :) Same as this page. Both hands are too far from her face.

I made them like that to add some "realism". I know you'd be like… BUT NOBODY FIGHTS THAT FAST!!!

Yeah… I'm just trying to make a distinction between a trained fighter to untrained ones. Its like… if you watch UFC and FELONY FIGHTS, there is a difference on skill levels of the fighters.


Future chapters will have better-skilled fighters. :)


Mara-Nina had little training… and she has good genes since her father was a captain of the DIAMOND division (see KATROPA comic prologue).

While Bep-Bep is…. (oops. no spoilers. haha!)
