Hunted - iss01 p01 - script sample

This is the first page of Hunted, a story which is about prejudice just as much as it is about vampires. Before starting the script, therefore, I looked at all the "generally accepted" images we have of vampires and tried to decide how I was going to square those with my ideas for the comic. As you can probably tell, a lot of that went almost verbatim into the internal dialogue for this page!

As you can definitely tell, even at this late stage (possibly the fourth re-write?), I was still struggling to put the "ideas" I had for the story into a "voice" that would sound right for a fifteen year old girl.
