The Spires is my take on the fantasy genre. As with the page before this one, the terrific artwork is by Fabrizio Pacitti and the wonderful colours are by Bill Key!
The lettering caused problems again with this page. One I solved, one I couldn't! The bottom LH panel was originally drawn with the two characters the other way round. In order to ensure the balloons were read in the correct order, I cut the panel out in PhotoShop and flipped it horizontally. (Yeah, it's cheating but it worked!) Unfortunately, the page layout still leads the reader into the final panel before the one on the left (*sigh!*) but, no matter how I reworked the balloons, I'm afraid that one defeated me!
