My truck went off the road today. Hit an ice patch, lost control and slammed on the brakes, and before I knew it, my seatbelt was keeping me from hitting the ceiling. I had a friend with me and we managed to crawl out safely. Can't say the same for the truck, but that doesn't concern me. I'm glad that I didn't bring any harm to myself or my friend. It could had been easily avoided too, but there was a good lesson learned about Winter driving. I didn't want to miss a day despite being shaken up.
