DDD#15 Not Green Lantern

Interestingly enough this marks the first Dead Dan Day where "Dan" is actually alive…hardy har har.

What we have here is a take on the character Captain Marvel from the MARVEL universe. See both DC and Marvel have their own Captain Marvel's but Marvel spells his name as Mar-vell. Since my BGH universe is kind of a mish-mash of both major comic universes, I thought it'd be funny if I as well had two Captain DC's and that they actually met and disputed over who gets the name…or something. I dunno, I'm actually not certain how that sub-plot is going to end. I'm just writing as I go right now.

Anywho, someone asked earlier if he had anything to do with Green Lantern and the answer is no. (I already have a GL spoof in the Purple-Flashlight Corps.) One of Captain Mar-Vell's classic costumes was green and white, and I kinda mixed and matched bits of that with his other costume to make a design I kinda like more that either of them. So yay for me.

And I guess it doesn't matter much but just FYI he is based off Captain Mar-vell the elder and not Genis or any of the younger Marvs…meh.
