I'm sorry to break it to all of you who were all a twitter about Purple Flashlight being on the heavy-set side, but she's really not. At least, that wasn't my intention when I drew her, as far as I knew I was drawing her just like I draw most of my super-hero type physique women. I just kinda gave her bigger hips than normal. I think the angle or something just kinda gave you all the wrong idea.

Though, having said that, there IS a character in the Camaraderie of Heroes who is on the larger side, and she'll be showing up soon. I have no problem representing different body types and getting whatever reaction I get for that…but I just for characters that I actually intend to be that way. When people get it wrong it kinda just means i'm a failure as an artist.

Oh well, anyway here's something else for you to enjoy:



A few nerdy points to make about her powers: her "speed" only refers to her flying speed with the ring, not her actual combat or reaction speed. And her durability refers to any shield or force field she could create with the ring. Without the ring she has normal human attributes.
