I'm just gonna go ahead an answer before anyone comments, that: No, she isn't dead. Just very badly hurt. I just wanted to reference "Crisis on Infinite Earths"#5 because it's an awesome cover. But she isn't dead though.

ANYWAY, y'know it's funny. I spent so much time trying to make that bottom panel look cool for the cover homage, but in the end I wound up liking the top half of the page even more than the bottom. The black shading I did on the first and fourth panels are really dramatic.

And Hey, five more pages 'till BGH#400, wow.
