When I originally pitched this miniseries to the CROSSOVERLORD folks, I showed them some rough art with unrefined dialogue. At the time, Dasien's Neko-Suit didn't exist yet, and I had left her and Lightbringer out of the "This is why I think you're a bad guy" line-up joke.

But once I decided to use Cat-Dasien, I just HAD to throw in a "cat-themed villainess" joke. But then that left Lightbringer as the only one who wasn't commented on, so I then decided to stick him in the corner looking puzzled. I guess the joke is that Lightrbinger is so OBVIOUSLY a hero-type design that there's nothing Dan could say about it….
