Hello everyone, this is TransmorpherDDS, here with some exciting news. We're going to be setting up a Patreon for Banana Cream Cake! Patreon is a very exciting prospect for us, because it gives us the chance to support the comic in a way similar to a subscription, but still allowing us to update the comic for free here on Drunkduck. If you're interested in supporting us, just click the link above. Patreon is set up in such a way that you pledge a certain amount of money, and with each update of the comic that amount is automatically donated to the project. We're planning to update much more frequently, but don't worry about having that drain your bank account. You can set up a monthly maximum… so perhaps if you want to donate $5 for every page but can't afford more than $15 a month, if you set $15 as your monthly limit even if we update ten times you won't be overcharged. Additionally, if you like, there's the option to make a one-time donation, just to show your appreciation.
For now we're open to suggestions for rewards. We're considering offer high-res PDFs of the comic, possibly by chapter. We're also considering pinups, though we're not sure what donation amount to ask for, or even what the pinups should be. But if you have any ideas or suggestions for rewards we're open to them.
For now what we do have in place for rewards are coloring options. If the comic can achieve at least a $60 regular donation for each page the comic will be updated with cel-shaded coloring. Here's a sample of the first panel of this page colored in the style.

Pretty snazzy right? Aside from that, if we can get at least a $75 regular donation per-page the updates will be in fuller, more complex color. It's not too much of a larger donation amount, since it actually uses the cel-shading as a base. Still, the look is much more complex and interesting. Here's a sample:


Just to be clear, though, we're not going to be charging any kind of money, and actually even if we don't get any regular donations we still intend to update the comic more frequently. This is just a way to help us to produce the best comic we can without our personal lives suffering too much.
