Transmorpher D.D.S.: Another preview of Side Dishes. I'm sticking with my plan to release a censored version of the comic pages between chapters, since I feel like that's the best way to spread awareness of the series. For those who don't know, Side Dishes is a non-canon side series produced exclusively for the contributors on Patreon and guided by their suggestions and requests. This series in its entirety is available to all Patrons, regardless of how much or how little they pledge. If you are interested in even more, however, patrons who pledge at least $5 a month get access to the comic pages for the main site about a week early.


Doing this comic as my "living", more or less, for the past few months has been pretty amazing. I'm still relying on commissioned work and my savings to survive, but the growth I've seen and the support I've gotten is even more than I expected. What I've found interesting is that how much money has been pledged to the comic stays about equal to how much content I have uploaded to my Patreon. For example, at the moment there are 163 different uploads, and the fans are donating $161 a month. When it was closer to 150 uploads it was closer to $150, etc. I kind of wonder if it's a measurable or quantifiable phenomenon, or just an interesting quirk of how the fans react to this series. Either way there's plenty more to come, and starting next week we'll begin Chapter 8: Virgin Family.
