Designing the Madam was probably the trickiest part of this first page. Shotred and I discussed at length whether we wanted something like an old cruel hag running the "orphanage", or if it would be better to make her just outright sexy. Eventually, though, I mentioned that, if she was attractive at all, then people would want to see more of her, so he figured we should go for a sort of middle ground… she's not super model attractive, but she's still a beautiful woman in her own right, though her appearance is very stuffy and stern. Lol as well she's quite fit, which is part of how she keeps the girls in line, as we'll see soon.
