I'm going to be taking a couple days off for Thanksgiving/Black Friday later. Thanksgiving because I'm going to have to spend the whole day with my family, and Black Friday because I refuse to do work on Black Friday after working at Wal-Mart for several years.

I do wonder how much foreigners know about Thanksgiving/Black Friday, if only from American media. Although I guess it depends on the show… some shows just get aired outright in other countries, either in other countries that speak the same language, or subtitled for other countries. But there's also a bunch of shows where they just create a foreign "version" of the show.
