The design of the alien was basically done by committee with the help of my Patrons. I asked for advice on what she should look like, and the general consensus was that she should look a bit like an H.R. Giger design… she pulls a bit from the girl from Species and a bit from the Xenomorph, and honestly she also kind of pulls from Dragonball (although Toriyama has said that a lot of his alien designs were inspired by the Xenomorphs anyway, so I guess that's more of a lateral move). I also gave her head-tentacles like the Twi'Leks from Star Wars, and once i had all those elements I kind of just tried to simplify the design a bit so she didn't take too long to draw every time she showed up. I did struggle a bit at times with the complexity of her design, so it was common to make corrections on little details at the last minute.
