I went with "Birds of Gay" mostly because I thought the name was funny, even though only Harley and Catwoman have ever actually been members of the "Birds of Prey". As for the designs… I based their looks primarily on the designs from the Harley Quinn cartoon on HBO, but I didn't exactly use their personalities from that show… more just an amalgamation of various ways they've been presented over the years.
