Scott D onI just wanted to take a moment to say, that wherever you are in the world, please do not give in to panic. It's all right to be nervous, but don't lose your mind. Stay healthy, stay occupied, be mindful of distance, help those you're able to, and stay in touch with your loved ones. If you're in need of help, reach out. We live in an age where all these things are doable through the magic of modern communication technologies. Places like Facebook and reddit are brimming with people ready to offer their advice, or just a kind ear. If we keep cool heads, take reasonable precautions, and exercise compassion, we're going to get through this. Life will get back to normal. I love you all.
That is why not only Golden F. and myself, but all our fellow creators, will continue to bring you our work for your enjoyment. If you have the chance, please go show some love to your favourite artists, writers, and content creators on this and other platforms — and if you're a pet owner, your animal friends are there for you as well, so make sure to give them plenty of your time! I know I will be!
In other recent news, last week was Mothering Sunday for us in the U.K., so here's a belated shout-out to the great mums out there among our readership and beyond! Make sure you take some time for yourself, put on a fluffy dressing gown and slippers, put your feet up, and relax with a nice cup of tea and a good book or movie. If you're one of those stubborn mothers like mine who refuses to dispense with work for a bit no matter what, then don't be scared to ask for help. It doesn't take a great deal of time or effort to shoulder some of those tasks, and it makes them so much less daunting when split up.
We do appreciate what mums go through everyday for their families, so please seize that opportunity to show them that you care, especially in light of recent events. They really deserve it.
