Strangling a pupper is not my proudest moment.
—Golden F.

Hirohiko Araki once stated that whenever he wants to show a villain as truly despicable, he has them harm a dog. It's an effective method, that's for sure. It's also clear he has far greater mental endurance than either of us, because after finishing these next couple of pages, we both spent 45 minutes crying and a lot of money on tubs of Ben & Jerry's

I sincerely hope that you're all staying safe, keeping a cool head, and taking care of yourselves and one another out there. Don't let those around you shoulder their burdens alone. You don't have to make a big song and dance out of it, and the gestures you make don't have to be huge or expensive, just real. Listen to them. Learn about what's hurting them. Shelter them. Hold them up. Hold them close. In the words of a very wise man, "be excellent to each other." I know you can do it.

We also have a special announcement this week…

CALL FOR GUEST ART & COMICS!

That's right, reader! Once chapter 2 concludes on 17th July, we'll be going on break, returning early in September for the beginning of our next chapter. During this period, Golden F. and I will be getting some more work done, both on continuing this and laying the groundwork for another project (which will will be leaking details of in the future), so to tide things over, we're now open to guest art and comics. The only real rules are that they be related to Barkham Horror, family friendly (e.g., no strong language or graphic imagery), and in the case of comics, be no longer than three pages. You can send your submissions to us through direct messaging at our Facebook and twitter pages, private quack on my TheDuck forum profile, or e-mail them to us an attachment at scottharris1988@gmail.com —— make sure to write "Barkham Horror Guest Art" in the subject line, and include the name you'd like to be credited by, and which site (be it a comic, art page, or social media page) you'd like us to link to!
