Diamorian optimists are fairly rare. Most just take lots of drugs to release themselves from life's pain and seek an inner light. Then there are hedonists who just live for the moment. Then the fatalists who see death as a release and seek to release as many others from their pain as possible. It is not a bright and cheery culture. It's stoner cyberpunk on Quaaludes.
