This is the first page upon which I unleashed the GIMP's awesome layer editing tool, "posterize".

I've used it ever since. In a nutshell, it reduces the number of colors in a page to a set number, determined by you, the user. I usually roll with 5-7 colors–in these cases, all in the grayscale.
