Now this page I had some fun on. Not only was it a pleasure to draw - and subsequently hatch - but I'd hazard that this is some of my favorite dialogue I've written thus far. Mainly because I'm still getting the hang of it all.

This doesn't mean that this is a great page. It's still simply adequate. I'm still working on hatching techniques, story, and even making sure the things I'm drawing are pretty well-defined enough to make out. But I think I'm getting there.

As a change in the way I do dialogue boxes, from now on any exposition that is not coming directly from a character, which would be the overall narration of the story itself and not some monologue, will be in white boxes with no borders. All monologues - internal thoughts and such - will be in simple boxes with a straight black outline. Spoken dialogue will be in white boxes with an irregular black outline/shapes. Telepathy will be in boxes with snaky black outlines. But for the most part these rules have been established for a while. It's good to just get them out of my head.
