Nothing annoys me more than students avoiding answering simple questions. It makes me look like a know-it-all just because I don't like the silence that practically screams out "we're not reading the text, please stop giving us take home quizzes" Which is a threat the teacher made on the first day.

And whenever this situation happens, it reminds me of Jurassic Park when they froze to avoid the T-Rex.
