In a very un-trekkie move, I gave up seeing a private screening of this film before it's release because my girlfriend asked.

And I like having a girlfriend.

But I eventually did get to see the movie.
It was incredibly entertaining!
I remember seeing the cast that was chosen for the film and, at first, not being entirely impressed.

I was mistaken.

One of my favorite tools that has been used many times to clean up any plot holes that overzealous fans might find is "alternate realities".

Go see Star Trek now!!!
