I hate texting.

I personally hate texting because without the tone of voice and the body language, the messages can lose the sarcasm.

But I really hate texting in the classroom because I feel as it shows in the comic strip. Classes aren't that long and I can't see why friends can't just be patient and wait until after the class to hear your important news. Especially when the class is in the early morning. Who is awake to receive your "LOL"s or your "OMG"s?

And then there's the annoying "clickity-clack" that is going on right next to me as the student is desperately trying to hide their phone under the desk. And let's not forget the loud as hell buzzing of a vibration mode that really shouldn't make a sound at all.
