Six Year Story

Having your life flash before your eyes before death is a storytelling cliche. But it is a cliche that has been going through my mind lately as I get closer and closer to the last episode of Lost. I went down the list of episodes and started thinking about the many different season finales I've witnessed over the years. Some good, some strange, and some VERY strange, but I've stuck by it. As I get closer to the end, the life I've had with this show flashed before my eyes. Like the time back in '05 when I did caricatures at a junior high school that had Lost as it's theme. Strange as it is, some shows have quite an effect on our lives.

Then the other day Ian commented on the evolution of my art style. I liked this observation, so I thought I would scan through it myself, starting with the first one here http://beenbettercomic.com/2. I looked at the signature and the date found on the bottom right corner of the strip and noticed it was '05.

The acknowledgment that the oldest strip on this site and the year of the first Lost finale match inspired this comic.

I like it.
