Coyote Time

The mountains are relatively close to my house so we have a pretty decent coyote problem in my neighborhood. There have been several occasions when pets have been ripped apart or just flat out were carried away.

And then there was this one time when me and a friend of mine came out of our art class and I saw this animal running across the parking lots. I thought it was a small skinny dog, but then I saw the tail and thought it might have been a large cat. The coyote conclusion came when it got a bit closer. It was bizarre seeing one deliberately running through a crowded and busy parking lot during the day.

Like I said…a pretty decent coyote problem.
