Here's the reality that inspired this comic.

I was hanging out with a new group of friends and Jordan, the guy in the comic, asked if we wanted to work on a skit. He needed a murderer and a victim. I said I'd be willing to do either.

Jordan: "Now all we need is a knife"

Jimmy: "Actually….I have one in my car right now"

Jordan:"Um….you do?"

And while that bit of dialogue was already sufficiently creepy, I thought of how it could be creepier. And then made a comic out of it.
