When I let Nathaniel read this comic, he reluctantly approved the paraphrasing of this conversation.
What I didn't know was that he said the panda should write in haiku just because the panda wouldn't have to rhyme.
But I thought it was because pandas are Chinese.
I completely forgot the haiku is from Japan.
Lesson of the day.
But I'll probably forget it again.
