Those of you who read Kimluster's magnificent opus The Godstrain know that Belle is a bartender. As I hinted in my comments, she actually owns the place. Here's the link to that cameo. Like I also said Kimluster did more with the character in those few pages than I ever managed and she did her perfectly.

Belle's cameo in The Godstrain

And now another story from that bar. You see it has more unusual visitors than just Kimber Lee. I did a series of these stories about seven years ago. Sadly they were all lost on a hard drive crash. Or so I thought, until I found this one in my Photobucket account. It needed to have the speech balloons updated and the separate panels integrated into pages. Since I was working with finished jpegs some editing may be a little rough. The set is carefully packed away so I can always pull it out to do more stuff.

Belle doesn't show up until the end in this one. She does have that movie career you know.

Just for the hell of it some notes on the decor of the Flaming Coffin: First the bar is named for Belle's ex-husband Ron Coffin (very brief marriage that's him tending bar) There's a lot of posters and momentos from Belle's career as well as pictures of her family tucked away in there. You can see the cut-outs from Belle's stage show as well as Attack of the Robofemoids. There's even a robofemoid mask on the shelf partly obscured by the other bartender Suzi. The brunette in the poster is Searsha who not only is an intelligence officer in SIG but plays her namesake in Go a Viking!/Sword of Kings.

At the bar is a white haired cowgirl, Mattie (who played the a robofemoid in Attack and Battle of the R.) Wes Norwood from Interstellar Blood Beasts and that looks like Ben Affleck and the Brigadier but I can't be certain.
