Allow me to explain. I put my whole heart and soul into Sword of Kings. I really thought it was something special. So I set my sights so high that every little thing that didn't go right became a major catastrophe. I was moaning over having only 18 likes and comparing to everything and anything and wondering why everyone wasn't lining up to read it.

Every little thing.

But this? This is fluff and I can just have fun. It can be ridiculous and it doesn't matter. Like how the opening is like a joke. An astronomer, a police officer and an army captain walk into a bar. And the bartender says "Captain, your mission should you decide to accept it is to meet this enigmatic alien. The Lady in the black coat."

"I choose to not accept it."

"Um, I was joking. We don't have a movie if you don't accept it."

"That mean no paycheck?"

"Yes and we get Martin Landau"

"Dunno I read the script, I don't think he'd do this."

"CUT" "Would you two stop improvising, we are cutting this scene. We're going right to the open field."

And maybe that's how it got the opening it did.

See I can just goof around and don't have to concern myself with this arc and that or obsess about structure and number of likes and page views. So here it is.
